Finally it's here, the warm season. The sports program can therefore be re-added to cycling. And I do too. My bike is called "mountain" and as for the mountain, I took advantage of it and deliver. Granted, the roads are not always rooted, rocky forest trails - no, my favorite tracks are small forest roads. You may also be partially paved, but should climb's all right. We are living in Upper Austria even in the fortunate position, in an environment where there are many more wonderful ways than one has time for cycling.
I like to ride right away from home, first downhill and then a short stretch of the Danube to warm up and you're going uphill towards Pöstlingberg, the mountain of Linz, on to Lichtenberg, and GIS.
going uphill, I pay attention to my cadence and I try to achieve with a little translation to the highest possible in order to strengthen the endurance fibers. The strength fibers can I strengthen the studio because I'm doing a very special strength training, but I'll tell you when it is next Time
've After years of denying click pedals last year but I can be persuaded and it is really no comparison. We achieved a much more efficient, more powerful and safe step. And you can feel it! Two weeks ago, I also dreaded the chapter "Once you drop must be" behind me - on asphalt - from the state and not in the terrain, but at a technical training. Short dresses were deleted then a week.
Speaking of "technical training": I can only recommend. I'm so done one at Alpine Club. A whole day long, only in a practice area: cornering, Braking technology, switching going uphill, a kind of base package for every hobby-bikers.
But now you already know, what for me is always very important in sports: Enjoy! When cycling you have so much nature in such a short time and "puffing" to come up and then look down with great relish, that has something special!
How are you at the first exit after the long winter season? Maybe you have one or the other tip on how to quickly get fit for the bike. I look forward to plenty of advice.
